Every facial service at Sue Kolve’s Salon & Day Spa begins with an in-depth skin analysis before we decide the correct course for you. As part of our Facial treatments, our service providers perform a deep, relaxing massage to your chest, neck, shoulders and face. When you leave your skin will be smoother more hydrated and have a healthy glow. You will also receive a personalized product recommendation, selected and customized by your service provider to maintain your skin’s health between visits. Sue Kolve’s Spa Facial

Our foundation facial, this personalized treatment is totally customized from start to finish! You’ll experience a deep pore cleansing, exfoliation, and massage of the face, neck, and shoulders followed by a custom blended serum designed to correct specific problems, a therapeutic mask, and a hand/arm massage. Resurfacing Radiance Signature Treatment

This professional peel has been especially formulated to be as active as possible but in the gentlest formulation. Sometimes our skins needs are more than a gentle scrub can fulfill. Therefore using the powerful benefits of organic seaweed blended some of nature’s finest active ingredients, this peel will gently break down the impurities of the skin and remove dead skin cells. The skin is left relaxed, healthy, vibrant, and younger looking. The Signature Treatment includes our classic Spa Facial.

Microdermabrasion

Refresh your skin with this non-invasive skin resurfacing treatment. The topmost layer of the dermis is gently exfoliated to remove dead skin cells, stimulating collagen production and cellular renewal. It evens out the texture and pigmentation, improving the appearance of wrinkles and acne scarring leaving the skin healthier, softer and firmer. Lactic Acid Peel – 20%

Revitalize your skin with our powerful, non-surgical lactic acid peel. Derived from milk, a lactic peel is a milder chemical peel and a good choice for a first-time peel or those with sensitive skin. Dry or oily skin types can also use this peel and get good results. Lactic acid is especially good for mature skin and less harsh than a glycolic acid peel. Best results achieved with a series of treatments. The benefits include:

Glycolic Acid Peel – 30%

Used for mild peeling treatments, glycolic acid is a naturally occurring AHA found in sugarcane. It improves fine lines, uneven pigmentation and acne. Glycolic Acid is the primary AHA used in chemical exfoliation to improve the skin’s overall appearance, tone and texture by weakening the binding properties of the lipids that hold the dead skin cells together, thus causing them to shed faster than normal. Usually a series of peels is needed to achieve the desired results. Glycolic Acid Peels can:

Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is a comfortable and relaxing exfoliation treatment that utilizes a specialized instrument designed to gently remove away accumulated dead skin cells, and vellus hair in order to reveal a smoother, brighter complexion.

Skin Sea Soothers Facial

This restful ocean inspired organic facial deeply soothes and nourishes the skin. It helps support and restore both fragile and sensitive skin. The deeply hydrating facial mask with Rose of Jericho and Argan oil, known for repairing the skin’s functional barrier and preventing moisture loss will be gently applied to face, neck and décolleté. Warm hydrating seaweed leaves will be wrapped around your hands and feet to help reduce inflammation and tenderness. A balm with oils of Rosehip and Almond will be applied to nail beds to repair and nourish. This facial is recommended for guests in active treatment with tender, sensitive skin.

Art of Healing Facial

This targeted facial is focused on repairing the skin’s barrier function and reintroducing hydration to your skin. A gentle enzymatic exfoliation lifts dead skin cells and encourages cell renewal, while our specific seaweed mask with intense moisturizing qualities repairs and restores your skin. This facial includes an eye treatment with Chamomile, Pomegranate and Sea Buckthorn oil known for high levels of omega 6 and Vitamins A & E to reduce dryness and sensitivity around the delicate eye area. A perfect facial for guests who have completed cancer treatments and want to re-hydrate and replenish the skin.

Waxing

Waxing is a method of semi-permanent unwanted hair removal from the root with the application of a warm wax. The new hair will not grow back in the previously waxed area for one to six weeks depending on your hair growth and cycles. Our team of trained spa professionals are committed to providing a safe and comfortable experience during your waxing service.
